Unfortunately, the feel good factor from yesterday didn’t quite carry through to today, Sunday.

Sarah remained washed out and tired.

On the positive side, both doctors came by today to see her and continue to be very pleased with how her recovery is going – so that is very good news.

Three of the four drains collecting blood were removed today which is a great sign that the wounds are healing well.

Holly and Tom came in this morning to see Sarah for the first time which of course Sarah was very pleased about. The kids were also glad they could finally see her and lend their support.

A bit more chair sitting and a walk on a frame in the corridor made Sarah feel much better. She needs to keep doing this to get everything working again at full capacity.

Talk of a blood transfusion to give her a boost has now passed – another positive sign.

Sarah is being very resilient and patiently waiting for some energy to return – which won’t be far away now!

One response to “DAY 4

It was a long and dramatic surgery and it is still the first week after, so don’t feel discouraged. It is good that Sarah’s doctors are pleased with her progress, that’s the main thing. Hold the course. Sending you all lots of love xxxx
